Best service, delicious food and great ambiance! One of our favorite places to dine. The salmon was done beautifully and the farfalle pasta is the best. The mocha crunch cake can't be beat either. Can't wait to return!

Was one of 50 guests invited to a recent surprise birthday party on a Saturday night at Rocca Ristotante. This was our first time here with Broadway Prime down the street being the only other restaurant on Broadway where we have eaten. Dinner choices were pre-selected prior to the party and my wife and I chose the Chicken Marsala and the Grilled ribeye along with the Gorgonzola sliced pear salad with appetizers of the meatballs bolognese and bruschetta pomodoro. One never knows how the steak would come out for a banquet event but it was perfectly cook d and not dry. The chicken bathed in sliced mushrooms and marsala sauce also tasted great along with the combined dry seasonings. We both sampled each other's main entree and definitely both were winners. Due the number of guests we were seated upstairs which was a private dining area in which we sat at one of two tables on the balcony area. Highly recommend this restaurant for a date night or special occasion. The owner, Hagi Kurt is pictured when the birthday boy arrived where we greeted him along with our Hispanic female server who was great along with all the other Server Assistants who waited on our table.

This place has it all! Excellent service, delicious food, cozy atmosphere with soft music in the background. Tables inside and out as well as a section upstairs. There were four of us. We started with a beet salad, a Caesar salad and crab cakes appetizer to share and all were fresh and sooo tasty. The main dishes we ordered were gnocchi in a red sauce, the lasagna bolognese special, the ricotta filled eggplant starter (if you like eggplant, you will love this flavor bomb dish), and the fettuccini with sausage (with peppers, mushrooms garlic and maybe spinach) and we loved them all. The four of us shared the lava cake special and it was yummy. It's the only thing we didn't get a picture of, sorry, but try it if it's an option! The service was excellent! From the moment we stepped inside to the moment after we left, when I walked back in to go to the bathroom, we were so taken care of. Just wrapped up in care. We were greeted and seated promptly, specials explained clearly, waters never went below half full, bread and the olive oil and seasoned dip refilled when devoured lol, questions answered. This was a great experience that we'd all recommend you try.

Tonight, we had another amazing dinner at Rocco. We arrived at 7 p.m. on a busy Saturday night, but thanks to our Yelp reservation, we were seated right away. Our server was friendly and attentive throughout. We started with two appetizers: the calamari, which was excellent (5/5), and the carpaccio, which had a bit too much Dijon mustard for our taste but was still good (4/5). For our main courses, each of us chose a pasta dish. I absolutely loved my fettuccine ala Rocca--it was outstanding (6/5)! My son, who usually loves gnocchi, wasn't as impressed with theirs tonight (2/5), and I'd have to agree after trying a bite. My husband had the fettuccine con salsiccia, which he felt was a bit tangy (3/5). My son's girlfriend ordered the linguine fra diavolo in red sauce, though it arrived in white sauce by mistake. Our server quickly fixed it, and within five minutes, she had her correct order. We really appreciated his prompt and attentive service (10/5)! Overall, it was a delicious and cozy meal, and we all left happy. We'll definitely be back!

Very good Italian restaurant in Burlingame! Waitress was very kind and attentive, gave great recommendations. Food was delicious, we tried two different seafood pastas and both were good. Desserts were a perfect end to the evening. Restaurant is very cozy inside, nice atmosphere but a little loud. Definitely will return if we are back!

I was invited for a bridal shower event. The party was held upstairs and it felt private/intimate. The services was seamless and food was hot. There was a preset menu you could pick off of and some beverage choices (alcoholic and non). I enjoyed th group experience!

Me and my coworkers stayed in San Francisco for a layover and we were craving Italian and luckily I found this restaurant! I loved the atmosphere, it seemed like it was ran by a lovely family. Not sure if it is, but the service was amazing. Once we were out of water they were there. So friendly and welcoming. The complementary bread and oil was delicious. I could've kept eating that, but had to save room for my entree. The bruschetta was flavorful and garlicky. Just the way I like it. Calamari was great. My ravioli bolognese was a 10/10. Had lots of meat in the sauce which I enjoyed. My coworkers were satisfied and thanked me for bringing them there. So was I! Thank you for an amazing experience and lovely service.

Date night! We were seated right away without a reservation on Memorial Day. Staff was super nice. Very attentive and kind. Our server was very helpful w/ recommendations for our first visit. I had the capellini pomodoro and it was bomb! Calamari was cooked perfectly and the Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon blanc was paired nicely! Street parking was easy. Great night w/ great food!

I've been trying to explore the Broadway area of Burlingame a lot more lately and came across Rocca Ristorante and got to finally try this restaurant during my lunch break. The atmosphere is definitely the type of place you go to for a special occassion, but it's still a nice place to go for a casual lunch. It wasn't very busy either so it was easy to get a seat. The dim lit interior and the great service was definitely very comfortable. Our waiter was super friendly. They also give complimentary bread and olive oil/vinegar. He mentioned a few special dishes and as soon as he said Lasagna, my ears perked up and I asked how much it costed. Which was $22.50 which is around the price tag of all of their pastas. The lasagna arrived and looked very appetizing and it was honestly really good. They also can add extra cheese on top of your pasta which is always a plus. The sauce they used tasted very fresh and so were the rest of the ingredients used. It was definitley one of my favorite lasagnas I have had in a while. I got to try some of the Linguine Fra' Diavola and the muscles and clams were very fresh. I would definitely recommend that pasta dish as well. Honestly, a 10/10 experience coming here and I can see myself coming back here.
